Hungry Fox in Los Angeles

Let me start by saying I have only felt compelled to review a place ONCE ever before. Gave this place a try based on the great reviews and ordered 2 orders of their chicken and waffles and two sides of Mac n cheese to go... MAN WAS IT ULTIMATELY A MISTAKE. We paid about 45 dollars just for these items which I felt was steep but Quality comes before quantity for me. Let me start by saying their waffles were actually pretty awesome and if I had just ordered the waffle I’d be happy. The chicken was flavorless and a 6/10 at best. BUT LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOW I WAS ROBBED WITH THIS MAC N CHEESE. Their Mac and cheese was an absolute joke. It was literally Kraft box Mac n cheese nothing more to it. We must’ve paid AT LEAST 8 dollars between my boyfriend and I on this garbage. Warning to everybody else! I’m so beyond disappointed I actually spent a lot of money on this sad excuse for Mac n cheese !!!

I just had my taste buds taken to a magical breakfast land I had no idea existed. This is a must go to place for foodies. I just found my favorite breakfast spot. The different jams for waffles are magical. The house special sauce goes perfectly with the chicken and waffles. Now that my meal is over I'm overcome with sadness that my journey is over but also resolve to come here again.

I arrive at this excellent restaurant from time to time since I love the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The team is highly loving and professional. The service is absolutely fast. Needless to say, the food you eat is exceptionaly good. I visited often and I was always pleased. The payment is decent. I suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

By far the best chicken and waffles I have had. The chicken is crunchy and juicy. The waffle is also crunchy but also soft in the inside. They also have a sauce that make it even better. @raulvsfood

Very nice service, I love their fried chicken and waffles. They are an all American diner type food, and they do it right. Just a tad over priced but still pretty good. I like them as much as Dupar’s.

The service was really bad . 8-1-20.The waitress was cocky when I asked her what do you have to drink she said what do you want . Not even a hello. But the people on the other table she was saying thank you so much for your support. Thank you for coming etc. She doesn't have customer service skills only preferences.hash brown was too thin and food was too pricey.

Best chicken and waffles around. Other then what it says on the back of the employees shirts "second best chicken and waffles" is not true. It's the best around I would say. The place is very clean and always busy. Somewhat small but enough space to feel comfortable. This is more like a brunch restaurant since they close everyday at 3 but that's ok it's still amazing.

Great staff and really good tasting food. The Thai flavored sauces and ingredients in various breakfast dishes makes it even tastier. Also, MUST TRY THEIR FRIED CHICKEN and waffles. It's the CHICKEN you must try. One of the juiciest fried chicken with fluffy but super Crispy friend skin! Truly delicious!

Really enjoyed our visit this morning. Food was delicious, service was excellent, coffee was great. Overall, great experience and will be back to try their chicken and waffles.. country fried steak was very tasty!!

I like this place very much. It has a great air. The kitcen is wonderful. the service is dynamic and the waiters are professional. The pay is honest. I definitely recommend.

Flavorful, crispy chicken, fluffy carmelized waffles.....def a winner

I have lived in the valley for 30 years and I had always driven by Hungry Fox and for one reason or another I never made it inside. Well folks I finally did...... and oh boy so worth the wait! The waffles were to die for!

I am here from out of town and I was so excited after reading the reviews. I went in and asked for butter, syrup, and hot sauce she said butter and syrup was in the bag, we got back to our air b&b there was no syrup. My husband got the chicken and waffles the waffles were great, chicken wasn’t cooked enough. I asked for brown sugar and butter in my oatmeal it was plain. Sucks cause I was really looking forward to a great breakfast.

Hungry Fox is a nice quick bite in the Valley. Won’t say it’s the best, but it’s not bad either. The chicken didn’t live up to the hype, but it was good for what it was. I enjoyed the waffles most. Everything else was just okay. The great thing is there wasn’t a wait and everyone was friendly. I would recommend.

After many years of absence I returned to the Fox recently and I thought I'd splurge and have some Eggs Benedict for breakfast. What a mistake! By far the worst I've ever eaten.I was able to tolerate two bites. I never complained. And when the waitress came and cleared away my full plates of food; She never questioned if everything was alright.Instead, I just got the check. I paid my bill and was out of there. Never to return again. I don't know how their other items are doing on the menu...but stay away from the Eggs Benedict.
